I'm silent, because it seems things ARE getting worse, rather then better.
Today, Marketplace (marketplace.pri.org) had their friday conversation with their stock broker in Dallas, who said, just wait for the credit (card) market to drop with all ThAT bad debt.
That's what I think I said a few months ago.
Yesterday, at a meeting on community infrastructure (I think) Michael Bloomberg, (mayor of NYC) warned the federal government that we need to work on making new ways to pay for infrastructure repairs.
The day before yesterday, I heard a news report discussing cities bringing back the trolley type mass transit.
Gee. Stuff I've been saying....
We need to make sure that EVERYman gets the ability to have a living profession, and get up to speed in new professions, by using the "Training Corp", to start a national retraining program..
and of course (I think) the proposal for paid day care starting at six months to start helping the education level (and providing people a means to get a job),
will help too.
I also heard a story about several banks close to failure, as well as the NY Attorney General suing 15 wall street firms for inappropriate advising people to take volatile stocks saying they were fine.
